When fire forces you from deep within,
A furnace roars where torments spin!
Without a trace, it slips to blackest night,
A truth consumed, by fading light.
Yet still you slumber, bound and deep inside,
Where agony and solace hide.
The world’s false gleam, a mocking, hollow show,
Reflects no wisdom that you truly know.
See wildly dancing, two becomes one, a furious fray,
The fractured spirit, grasping for the day!
Awake! Awake! From stupor’s crushing hold,
A primal tale, by inner fire told.
“O Shadow, give me answers!” cries the soul,
A desperate plea to make the broken whole!
For the truth is known to you – to YOU alone,
Upon your hidden, inner throne.
I feel your haste when I try to find – to FIND!
A frantic chase, leaving all sense behind.
But in searching YOU, I rip the veil within!
Where torment ends, and truth can now begin.
For answers, forged in pain, are found within!
