I just watched a man accidentally start a revolution while looking for a sandwich. 🪧

In this classic Just For Laughs Gags clip, it takes exactly sixty seconds to turn a pedestrian into a “revolutionary leader.” One minute they’re minding their own business; the next, they’re handed a poster board and find themselves leading a screaming mob against “riot police.” 👮‍♂️📢

It’s hilarious to watch, but it’s also a perfect metaphor for today’s social media landscape. 🌐

The Critical Thinking Gap 🧠

We often talk about “viral” content as a force of nature, but it’s actually powered by a “Like & Share” reflex. Much like the person in the video:

  • The Spark: We see a crowd forming (a trending topic). 🔥
  • The Tool: We’re handed a sign (a pre-written opinion or meme). 📝
  • The Action: We start marching (sharing) before we even know what—or who—we’re actually protesting against. 🏃‍♂️💨

The Lesson for 2026 📅

In an era of rapid-fire information, Critical Thinking is your most valuable filter. Just because a post has 100k shares doesn’t mean it has 100% of the facts. ✅

Before you “carry the poster board” for a viral trend today, pause and ask: Who handed me this, and where are we actually going? 🤔✨

Don’t just join the mob. Lead with logic. ⚖️
